Come and join us for our official opening event, outdoors in the beautiful Fletcher Moss park, with live music, dance, face painting, DJ’s, puppet shows, community singing and more.

The afternoon will include songs from fabulous new indie folk musician Cat Rose, folk-style acoustic music by indie pop band Thirteen Thirteen, site specific dance in the rockery 'Rooted in Light' by Chloe Smith and riveting contemporary dance inspired by Frida Kahlo's 'Self-Portrait with Cropped Hair' by Greta Zappettini.

To round off a week of all things artistic, enjoy a creative community afternoon in Fog Lane park.
Bring the family pack a picnic or visit one of our food stalls, and settle in for some fun, entertainment and relaxation. The final day of Didsbury Arts Festival will be marked by a huge outdoor celebration of our communities and their creativity - also featuring the arrival of the Big Burnage Parade and the Waste2Waves recycled plastic fish around 1pm.

There will also be a full programme of live music from Midland Railway, The Fleecers, Tea Towel Collective and others, community stalls and food traders, strolling performance with the Bo Sisters and friends, community sports and a whole lot more.
