Venue: St James and Emmanuel, Parish Centre, Lower Hall

‘VOICING THE UNVOICED’ - Real and Present Theatre, ‘RaPT’ is a local improvising theatre company. Based in the ideas of Playback Theatre (a form of Psycho-drama), we listen to and re-enact true stories, challenges or dilemmas which hold personal significance to audience members. RaPT embraces the rich diversity of people’s backgrounds and perspectives, seeking to give voice to and respond to your voiced, half voiced or unvoiced stories. We enact, mirror or perhaps interpret moments and memories, often finding universal themes in our shared humanity, affirming and honouring them. We welcome you to witness and collaborate in this experiential performance, which promises to move, intrigue and inspire you. Following the main performance, audience members have the option to learn more about RaPT’s methods and participate in a practical workshop (if they would like to do so). Why not give it a go? - It can be freeing, profound and great fun!

The performance is 6:30- 7:45pm with an optional workshop 8-9pm for those who would like to stick around.

50% of ticket income will be donated to Mind.
