Carole Isis and Friends

Christ Church Darley Avenue, 35 Darley Avenue, Manchester, M20 2ZD

From her roots in Birmingham, Alabama, Carole’s beautiful and enchanting voice will sing the story of the routes she has taken to lead her to Didsbury. Featuring two surprise guests.

The Birmingham, Alabama, to Manchester, England, Story via San Francisco and Hawaii: The Musicale!    Carole began singing for people about the age of 5 and then later picked up a guitar for her accompaniment in 1960. By 1970 she was making a living singing in a variety of venues including folk clubs, hotel lounges, concert halls, music festivals; benefit concerts for organizations such as Green Peace, Amnesty International and World Peace Prayer Society; also in hospitals, churches and prisons, homeless shelters and senior, mental health and aids hospice facilities...She learned early on that singing is her heart’s desire and performing was to be her main context for learning a million life lessons and decided to jump into it for all it was worth – this has lasted from then up to now!
