Didsbury Arts Festival has become a key event in the local calendar and attracted audiences of over 10,000 last year, working with more than 50 businesses, 500 artists and most local schools and community groups, and taking place in 74 different venues and businesses across Didsbury.
The festival received some tremendous publicity last year including local press, Channel 4 News and BBC Radio 4’s Front Row programme. We have increased our online and digital marketing presence this year and expect to get even more publicity and more visitors throughout the week, with coverage in the Press, on local Radio and through local and Manchester based magazines.
There are a number of ways in which you can market your business to that audience of 10,000+ visitors, both before the festival and during the festival week – to take make sure that you take full advantage of the extra buzz around the local business community that Didsbury Arts Festival creates.
Advertising in the festival programme Each year we produce 10,000 festival programmes which are made available to festival goers from early August onwards via Didsbury Arts Festival venues, Didsbury Library and various retail businesses through Didsbury. The programme is also available in downloadable format from our website.
