DAF 2011

The Festival Desk will be located at Didsbury Library and open from Saturday 17 September to Saturday 1 October, 2011.

Visit the desk to pick up flyers, updates on events, maps, a daily listing of ‘What’s On’, general information…and not least to pick up a DAF Programme full of details for all events and exhibitions.

Opening times: Mon-Sat, 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm (except Wednesdays and Sundays).  DAF information will also be available at the library during normal opening times during those weeks.

Key event and programme information

  • The daily highlights, performance and workshop events are listed in date and time order – there is also a ‘key’ indicating the type of event.
  • For ‘Arts Trail Exhibitions’ check the venue’s normal opening times.
  • Details and timings of performance events may change due to factors outside of DAF’s control – check the website for key updates and event changes or ask at the Festival Desk.
  • Event timings shown are approximate and the duration of events will vary. Most daytime performance events last approximately an hour and evening performance events up to 2 hours, unless otherwise stated. Bands and Jazz events may last longer.
  • Most venues have disabled access and parking nearby. Please check with venues for exact details.
  • Events may be cancelled without notice.
  • Most venues and artists have offered their time and support freely so that DAF events can take place. This has allowed entry to most events to be free or kept to a minimum.
  • DAF cannot accept responsibility for the health and safety arrangements in venues, which is the responsibility of the venue, or for the actions of individual artists, performers or workshop hosts.
  • DAF team members and volunteers will be on hand at most events to offer advice or assistance and will be wearing DAF badges for identification.
